Columbus – National Midgets – Sept 19, 2009 – Jegs Crown Midget Nationals

Caleb Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. took advantage of a bobble by Kyle Hamilton on lap 26 and led the final 15 laps of Saturday night’s 40-lap JEGS Crown Midget Super Nationals “Alex Pruett Memorial” race at the Columbus Motor Speedway. Armstrong trailed Hamilton for the first 25 laps of the Honda National Midget race but put his Motor City Auto Transport/Baker Crop Insurance Beast/Mopar in victory lane. Hamilton, who earlier won the 30-lap National Ford Focus Championship race, took second ahead of Jerry Coons Jr., Cole Whitt and Chad Boat.
